From concept to completion, enhancing your existing kitchen countertops with Quartz countertops is a personalized process. The information below will guide you through that process and provide you with insightful features of granite to influence your choices.

Quartz is a natural gemstone in the same family with familiar semi-precious stones such as onyx, jasper, agate or amethyst. Over the years, it has gained popularity as home owners’ choice for countertops.

If you’re considering a quartz countertop, waste no more time! We at CAS Marble and Granite would love to tell you more about Quartz and give you an unrivaled experience.

Making the Stone

Our manufacturing process begins with inspecting the raw materials for quality, and blending them into a wet-sand like substance. The resulting mixture is then turned into a mold, producing slabs which are then compressed with a special vacuum of pressure up to 100 tons. This pressure is what makes the stone so smooth and less porous than other natural stones like granite.  This makes quartz a unique stone that rarely needs to be sealed. It is easier to clean, and it repels stains better.

Measurement of your countertop

Once you are ready to purchase our Quartz countertops and have selected your most preferred design, our staff will visit your home to take the precise measurements of your countertops. After your kitchen measurement is finalized, we use the dimensions to cut the Quartz of your countertops.

Fabrication!

The Quartz are forwarded to our CNC machines for fabrication. This includes making the custom edges, polishing them, making the cutouts, and drilling the holes for the faucets. After fabrication, the countertops are inspected by our skilled hand fabricators for further improvements such as fixing any chips in the edge profiles, taking care of any sharp edges and polishing.

Installation!

Once satisfied with the final outcome, the pieces are cleaned thoroughly, ready to be installed and enjoyed!

What’s more?

No doubt, Quartz countertops are a very popular option amongst homeowners. They are very durable, beautiful and easy to maintain. Although, quartz countertops are artificial, their beauty are not far from natural. It’s not cheap, so it rivals the cost of granite.
